First Year Team Try Outs!

Last Saturday we had a great turn out for LI Knights try-outs. We had girls from different areas come and learn the game of volleyball. All were nervous, some were super serious and others had that competitive winning edge.

As a Club Director, I was probably more nervous about the meeting the new girls than they were. After making sure everything went according to plan, I was able to relax and meet some of these stellar athletes. Some were dancers, soccer players, previous volleyball players for their high schools - but all were willing to learn and have a positive attitude.

I am so thankful that these girls came in, ready to play, to listen and to make new friends.

That's what it starts off with - having fun.
